% 06.11.2017 FIR 459/2017 under Sections 420/468/471/120B IPC was registered at PS New Friends Colony on the complaint of respondent no.2 alleging therein that petitioners had assured him that they would get his son i.e. respondent no.3 in a medical college and on that pretext, they took `20 lakh from him. It is submitted that with the intervention of friends and relations, petitioners and respondent no.2 have now settled their disputes vide deed of settlement dated 27th April, 2009 , copy whereof is on record as Annexure P-2. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by ASI Tanveer Ahmed of police station EOW. Respondent no.2 admits having settled the disputes with the petitioners vide Settlement Deed dated 27th April, 2009. Petitioners have handed over a sum of `2 lakh to respondent no.2 in the Court towards balance settlement amount vide demand draft, photocopy

whereof is on record. Respondent no.2 submits that with this payment, entire settled amount stands paid and he is not willing to pursue the FIR any further against the petitioners and the same may be quashed. Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no.2 and the fact that settled amount stands paid, FIR 459/2017 under Sections 420/468/471/120B IPC was registered at PS New Friends Colony and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
