The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to the respondents to allot a chamber to the petitioner at Saket Court Complex, New Delhi.

The petitioner claims that he had applied within the time and had provided all necessary documents in support of his claim that he was practicing at Saket Court.

The petitioner had, thereafter, filed a representation dated 04.09.2017 along with additional documents to further strengthen his case.

The said representation has been rejected as the Committee has taken a view that an application for allotment of lawyers's chambers would be considered only on the basis of the documents provided along with the application to provide a level playing field. 3.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that even without

considering the documents annexed with the representation, the petitioner's application was competent and he was entitled to allotment of a chamber. 4.

The learned counsel for the respondents states that the petitioner's application along with the other matters regarding allotment of chambers is under consideration of the sub-committee.

In view of the above statement, the present petition and pending application are disposed of by directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's application in accordance with its policy and communicate the decision to the petitioner as soon as the final decision is arrived at.
