% 09.10.2017 The petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking production of three of his employees, who, according to him, have been illegally detained by respondent Nos. 4, 5 and 6. The petitioner admits that there is a dispute between him and respondent Nos. 4, 5 and 6.

Mr. Anurag Jain, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that, de hors the dispute, the employees of the petitioner could not have been illegally detained.

We had issued notice in the matter on 27.9.2017. Mr. Mehra has handed over a Status Report in Court, as per which, three employees have made a statement that they have not been illegally detained. Three detained employees are present in Court. The detained employees submit that the statement made to the police was under coercion and pressure. They further submit that they were, in fact, illegally detained, locked in a room, beaten and kept in confinement. They further submit that, only upon the present petition having been filed, they were released. We find that the Status Report states to the contrary.

Since the three employees of the petitioner stand released, Mr. Jain does not press this petition. The petition is dismissed as not pressed.
