Upon hearing, I find good ground to prepone the date of hearing from 23rd February, 2018 to today.

Applications are disposed of.

W.P.(C) 8818/2017 & C.M. 36030/2017 W.P.(C) 8819/2017 & C.M. 36032/2017 Counsel representing both the sides submit that pleadings are complete. However, question of territorial jurisdiction is raised. W.P.(C) 8818/2017 & 8819/2017

These petitions pertain to recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, CAPF and Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF Examination, 2016. As per Section 14 of The Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985, the jurisdiction to deal with these petitions is of Central Administrative Tribunal.

Learned counsel for petitioners submits that since the date for joining is 10th February, 2018, therefore, these petitions may be sent to Central Administrative Tribunal, New Delhi today otherwise, these petitions will become infructuous.

In view of aforesaid, Registry is directed to transmit these petitions to the Registrar, Central Administrative Tribunal, New Delhi today through a special messenger, so that hearing on these petitions can take place tomorrow.

Needless to say, all the contentions of the parties are left open to be considered by the Central Administrative Tribunal. A copy of this order be given dasti under the signatures of Court Master to counsel for the parties.
