HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

O R D E R

% 10.10.2017 Respondent no.2 (complainant) is present in Court and has been identified by Insp. Vijay Kumar of police station Vivek Vihar. Respondent no.2 submits that he has settled the matter with the petitioners of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. He further submits that petitioners were known to him as they are living in the same locality. He further says that in view of the settlement he is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed. A perusal of FIR shows that a quarrel took place between the petitioners and respondent no.2 wherein respondent no.2 sustained simple injuries, which had led to registration of present FIR. In view of the

settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no.2, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 303/2012 under Sections 324/34 IPC registered at police station Vivek Vihar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
