% 07.12.2017 By this petition the petitioner seeks parole to file a Special Leave Petition in the Supreme Court against the order dated 8th May, 2017 dismissing the appeal of the petitioner challenging his conviction. As per the Nominal Roll, the petitioner has already undergone nearly four years' and ten months' imprisonment. Sentence of the petitioner was suspended pending hearing of the appeal. Further, as per the Status Report, residential address of the petitioner has been verified and his family has been found to be residing at House No.179-D, Vasant Village, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi. Since the petitioner has roots in the society and earlier also on dismissal of the appeal, the petitioner had surrendered to custody, this Court W.P.(CRL) 2913/2017

deems it fit to grant parole to the petitioner. It is, therefore, directed that the petitioner be released on parole for a period of four weeks from the date of his release on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹20,000/- with one surety of the like amount, subject to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court/CMM. Petition is disposed of.

A copy of this order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent, Tihar Jail.
