Learned counsel for the petitioners states that during the pendency of the present writ petition, an order dated 10.12.2018 has been passed in CRL.REV.P. 493/2017, filed by the Directorate of Enforcement against the husbands of the petitioners recording inter alia that the earlier order dated 11.05.2018, has been complied with. Vide order dated 11.05.2018, property No.414, Basant Avenue, Race Course Road, Amritsar was directed to be handed over to the petitioners in the revision petition, on the condition that they would not deal with the said property or create any third party rights or encumbrances therein till further orders.

In view of the subsequent development, learned counsel for the petitioners states that his clients do not wish to press the present petition any W.P.(C) 9059/2017
further. However, they reserve their right to challenge the vires of Rule 5
(2) of the Prevention of Money Laundering (Taking Possession of attached or frozen properties confirmed by the Adjudicating Authority) Rules, 2013 in the future, if the need so arises.

While taking on record copies of the orders dated 11.05.2018 and 10.12.2018 passed in CRL.REV.P. 493/2017, leave as prayed for is granted. 4.
