O R D E R

% 21.08.2018 Present FIR No. 128/2016 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 registered at police station Jafrabad on the complaint of respondent no.3. It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no. 3 have settled their disputes before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Karkardooma Court, Delhi on 21st September, 2016, therefore, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings may be quashed. Respondent no. 3 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by ASI Satynder of police station Jafrabad. She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioners and respondent no. 4 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She admits

that she has received entire settled amount and says that she has no objection in case FIR is quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners, respondent no. 4 and respondent no.3 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous.
