% 11.05.2018 The Arbitrator proposed to be appointed in the order dated 12th April, 2018 has filed his disclosure statement in terms of Section 11(8) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Counsel for the respondent submits that he has filed an application seeking review of the order dated 12th April, 2018 passed by this Court. As the same is not even on record, I cannot take cognizance of the said submission at this stage. Having perused the disclosure statement, I see no impediment in confirming the appointment of the proposed Arbitrator. I, therefore, appoint Justice Badar Durrez Ahmed, Retd. Chief Justice of Jammu & Kashmir High Court (R/o 19, Akbar Road, New Delhi110011, Mobile No. 7042205786) as the Sole Arbitrator for adjudicating the disputes that have arisen between the parties in

relation to the Distributor Agreement dated 27th May, 2015. The petition is allowed in the above terms with no order as to costs.

It would be open to the respondent to agitate all submissions before the Sole Arbitrator so appointed.
