An additional affidavit has been filed on behalf of respondent no.1/ Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, on 25th March 2025, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. and as per the said affidavit, impugned notification dated 14th November 2018 was issued as a stand-alone notification providing environmental regulatory conditions for certain building and construction works in consonance with amendment dated 15th November 2018. 2.
The affidavit states that the amendment dated 15th November 2018 has been superseded and provisions of the stand-alone notification can no longer be invoked. It is stated that the notification dated 14th November 2018 has become infructuous.

The affidavit further states that the notification dated 29th January 2025 has been issued and will supersede the notification dated 15th November 2018.

It is further informed to the Court that the Supreme Court in Vanashakti v. Union of India, W.P (C) No. 166/2025 vide order dated 05th August 2025 has quashed "Note-1 to Entry 8 (a)" of the notification dated 29th January 2025 and upheld the other aspects of the notification. 5.
Considering that these petitions were filed challenging the notification dated 14th November 2018 and 15th November 2018, basis the statement in the affidavit, noted above, nothing further survives in these petitions. 6.
Accordingly, these petitions are disposed of. 7.
Pending applications are rendered infructuous. 8.
