O R D E R

% 11.10.2017 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no. 2 are neighbours. A perusal of the FIR envisages that a quarrel ensued between the petitioners and respondent no. 2 on some trivial matter, which had led to registration of the present FIR No. 100/2014 under Sections 308/34 IPC at Police Station Mandir Marg on the complaint of respondent no. 2. Respondent no. 2 had received simple injury in the incident and was discharged from the hospital on the same day after providing first-aid. It is stated that petitioners and respondent no. 2 have now settled the matter amicably. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Sudhir Kumar, P.S. Mandir

Marg. Respondent no. 2 says that she has now settled the matter with the petitioners of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She further submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed. Keeping in mind the facts and circumstances as detailed above, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 100/2014 under Sections 308/34 IPC registered at Police Station Mandir Marg and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
