% 16.10.2017 This case has come on transfer as Hon'ble Ms. Justice Sangita Dhingra Sehgal, J. is not available today.
Crl.M.A.16796/2017 (exemption) Exemption allowed subject to all just exceptions. Application stands disposed of.
W.P.(CRL) 2891/2017 The petitioner had sought extension of parole which was granted by order dated 08.09.2017 by Hon'ble Ms. Justice Sangita Dhingra Sehgal. The period of parole ends on 22.10.2017.
Mr. Rajesh Mahajan, learned ASC has brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner has already been granted furlough for a period of 3
weeks by the order of the competent authority dated 06.09.2017. He therefore submits that there would be no necessity of extension of parole as the petitioner would only be required to furnish bonds for availing of the furlough which has been granted to him by the competent authority. As such, the prayer for extension of parole is rejected. The writ petition is dismissed.
