Vide the present petition, the petitioner seeks direction thereby quashing FIR No. 141/2009 dated 31.05.2009 registered at Police Station Keshav Puram and all other proceedings emanating therefrom. 2.

Notice issued.

Notice is accepted by learned APP for the State and counsel for the respondent nos.2 to 5.

With the consent of the counsel for the parties, the present petition is taken up for final disposal.

The present petition is filed on the ground that the parties have settled their disputes and the respondent Nos. 2 to 5 have no objection if the present petition is allowed.

Respondent Nos. 2 to 5 are personally present in Court with learned counsel - Mr. H.S. Sasan and they have been identified by SI Sunil Kumar/IO, PS - Keshav Puram and submits that matter has been settled and they do not wish to prosecute the matter any further. 7.

The petitioner and respondent nos. 2 to 5 have entered into an amicable settlement vide settlement agreement dated 06.06.2017. 8.

The total settlement amount is ₹22,00,000/-(Rupees Twelve Lakhs). It is submitted that the respondent No. 2 has already received an amount of ₹11,00,000/- (Rupees Eleven Lakhs). A demand draft bearing No. 506996 dated 16.11.2019 for the balance amount of ₹11,00,000/- (Rupees Eleven Lakhs) is handed over to the respondent No. 2 today in the Court. 9.

Learned counsel for the petitioner prays that the present FIR bearing No. 141/2009 may be quashed.

Taking into account the aforesaid facts, this Court is inclined to quash the concerned FIR as no useful purpose would be served in prosecuting the petitioners any further.

For the reasons afore-recorded, the FIR No. 141/2009 dated 31.05.2009 registered at Police Station Keshav Puram and all other proceedings emanating therefrom are hereby quashed. 12.

The petition is allowed accordingly.
