The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners fairly states that in view of the decision of the Supreme Court in Indore Development Authority v. Manohar Lal and Ors.: (2020) 8 SCC 129, the present petition challenging the acquisition of the subject land (bearing Khasra No.486 measuring 13 Bigha 7 Biswa at Village Ghonda, Gujran, Shahdara, Delhi) has become infructuous as, admittedly, the possession of the subject land was taken over by the concerned authority.

The petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
