By this petition the petitioner seeks protection from respondent No.5. It is the case of the petitioner that petitioner advanced a loan of ₹31.36 lakhs to respondent No.5 and now the respondent No. 5 instead of returning the loan amount is threatening him.

A status report has been filed by the State stating that the beat staff of the area has been sensitised and the mobile phone numbers of the beat staff/division officer/SHO PS Mandawali, Delhi have been provided to the petitioner. Learned Additional Standing Counsel further on instructions states that the petitioner has shifted to PS Madhu Vihar and similar W.P.(CRL) 2888/2017

instructions have been given to SHO, PS Madhu Vihar. 3.

Learned counsel for respondent No.5 enters appearance and states that parties are negotiating a settlement.

The petition is thus disposed of directing that the protection be provided to the petitioner through beat staff and in case any specific complaint action thereon be taken in accordance with law. MUKTA GUPTA, J.
