Counsel for the petitioners states that he has obtained instructions from the Department to the effect that the petitioners have reconsidered the matter and decided not to challenge the order dated 17.08.2016 passed by the Tribunal. He states that the petitioners are taking steps to appoint the respondent in a Group-D post in terms of the impugned judgment. 2.

The petitioners are directed to take necessary steps to give effect to the impugned judgment within four weeks from today. 3.
