O R D E R

% 23.11.2017 It is submitted that petitioner no. 1 and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably; therefore, FIR No.121/2014 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Zafrabad. Respondent no. 2 Ms. Warisa is present in Court and has been identified by ASI Devender of Police Station Zafrabad. Respondent no. 2 admits having settled the matter with petitioner no. 1 of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Respondent no. 2 submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further against the petitioner no. 1 and his relatives, that is, petitioner nos. 2 to 8 and the same may be quashed.

Since respondent no. 2 (complainant) is not willing to pursue the FIR against the petitioner no. 1 in view of the settlement arrived at between her and the petitioner no. 1 in respect of subject matter involved in the aforesaid FIR, in the interest of justice, FIR No.121/2014 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Zafrabad and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
