% 11.04.2018 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably, therefore, FIR No.
2007/2015 under Sections 420/468/471/120B IPC registered at police station Malviya Nagar may be quashed. Respondent no.2 is present along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Balbir Singh of police station DIU/South District. She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioners of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion, therefore, she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed. Statement of respondent no.2 has also been recorded by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate-03, Mahila Court, South District, Delhi on 6th
March, 2018, copy thereof has been placed on record. Petitioners have paid `1 lac to the respondent no.2 towards the balance settled amount vide a demand draft photocopy whereof has been placed on record. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the present criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms.

Statement of Ms. Amber Yunus D/o Mr. S.M. Yunus, Aged 36 years R/o Bunglow No. 193, First Floor, Sukhdev Vihar, New Delhi. On S.A.
I have settled the matter with petitioner no.1-Abuzar Gaffari of my own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Petitioner no.1 has already pronounced Talaq to me on 16th September, 2015. Thereafter, I have re-married to Mr. Qazi Sarwat Hussain @ Guddu. I have also received settled amount as well as all stridhan from the petitioner no.1. Therefore, I do not wish to pursue the FIR No. 276/2016 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station New Friends Colony and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom against the petitioner no.1 and his relatives, that is, petitioner nos. 2 to 5 and the same may be quashed. I have given the above statement voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion.
