O R D E R
% 10.11.2017 Respondent no.2-Vinita is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by Insp. Kusum Lata of police station Dwarka South. She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner before the Counseling Cell, Family Court, Dwarka in HMA No. 484/2015 on 17th November, 2015. She further submits that her marriage with petitioner has also been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent dated 6th June, 2016 passed by the Family Court, South West District, Dwarka Court, New Delhi. She also admits having received the entire settled amount. She has no objection in case FIR is quashed.
Keeping in mind that marriage between the petitioner and respondent
no.2 has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent and respondent no.2 has no objection in quashing of the FIR, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 156/2015 under Section 498-A IPC registered at police station Dwarka South and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
