% 30.10.2017 Respondent no. 2 is present in Court along with his counsel and has been identified by SI Karan Singh, P.S. Lodhi Colony. Respondent no. 2 admits having settled the matter with the petitioner before Mediation Centre, Saket Courts on 5th September, 2017. He says that he has now settled the matter with the petitioner of his own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. He admits having received the entire settled amount from the petitioner. Respondent no. 2 further submits that he is not willing to pursue the FIR any further against the petitioner in view of the settlement.
Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the parties and that no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 186/2014 under Sections
279/337/338 IPC & 3/181 MV Act registered at Police Station Lodhi Colony and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
