% 27.02.2018 It is submitted that petitioner no. 1 is husband of respondent no. 2; whereas petitioner nos. 2 to 4 are relatives of petitioner no. 1. Petitioner no.1 (husband) and respondent no. 2 (wife) state that they have started living together from the last one year after settling their disputes before the Mediation Centre, Saket Courts, New Delhi on 24th December, 2016. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Mam Chand of Police Station Ambedkar Nagar. Respondent no. 2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioners of her own free will and

without any undue force, pressure or coercion and presently is living with the petitioners and has no complaint against them. Respondent no. 2 further submits that she has no objection in case FIR is quashed. Keeping in mind that husband and wife have started living together after resolving their differences, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep them entangled in the criminal proceedings. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR No.276/2014 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Ambedkar Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
