Mr Kohli, learned counsel appearing for the respondents states that as per the policy of the Badminton Association of India (BAI), the petitioner is required to undergo an age estimation test and apply for a fresh BAI ID. He clarifies that the petitioner is not debarred from participating in tournaments, subject to the petitioner complying with the aforesaid requirement. 2.
Ms Jaiswal, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the aforesaid policy is not being uniformly followed. She referred to the additional affidavit affirmed on 24.11.2018, whereby names of four other players have been mentioned. She states that all such players were similarly
placed but have been permitted to participate in the tournaments without undergoing an age estimation test or being compelled to apply for a fresh BAI ID. Mr Kohli seeks time to respond to the aforesaid contention with reference to the specific instances mentioned by Ms Jaiswal. 3.
