% 26.10.2017 Respondent no. 2 Ms. Simran Ahluwalia is present in Court and has been identified by SI Abodh of Police Station Preet Vihar. Respondent no. 2 says that she has settled the matter with the petitioner nos.1 and 2 before the Delhi High Court Mediation & Conciliation Centre on 25th September, 2017, copy of the same has been placed on record vide Annexure P-3. She submits that she has settled the matter with petitioner nos.1 and 2 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Respondent no. 2 further submits that she is not willing to pursue criminal proceedings against the petitioners any further and, therefore, FIR 66/2012 under Section 507 IPC registered at PS Preet Vihar, may be quashed. Petitioner nos.3 to 6 are relatives of petitioner no.1 and 2.

It is noted that copy of settlement Annexure P-3 has also been placed on record of FAO (OS) 14/2017 and FAO(OS) 26/2017wherein the concerned parties have been bound down by the terms of settlement. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner nos. 1 and 2 and respondent no.2, in the interest of justice, FIR 66/2012 under Section 507 IPC registered at PS Preet Vihar and the consequent proceedings emanating thereform, are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
