% 25.10.2017 Ms. Ritu Mishra @ Ritu Jha, Respondent no.2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by ASI Jaiveer Si ngh of police station Khajuri Khas. Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner no.1 before the Mediation Centre, Karkardoom Courts, Delhi on 25th February, 2017 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion.

She further submits that her marriage with the petitioner no.1 has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent passed by the Principal Judge, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi on 13th September, 2017. Petitioner has paid `1,90,000/- towards balance

settlement amount vide demand draft, photocopy whereof is on record. She further submits that with this payment, entire settled amount stands paid and she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further against the petitioner no.1 and his relatives, that is, petitioner nos. 3 and 4 and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 and the fact that their marriage has already been dissolved, in the interest of justice, FIR No.340/2012 under Sections 498A/506/406/34 IPC registered at police station Khajuri Khas and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
