The appellants seek enhancement of compensation over and above what has been granted by the learned Tribunal vide award dated 30.05.2017.

We have interacted with the learned counsels for the parties concerned. Apropos such interaction and due deliberation, on behalf of the parties it is agreed that respondent no.1/Insurance Company shall pay enhanced compensation Rs.4,70,000/- over and above the compensation granted by the learned Tribunal to the appellants. 3.

In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, the respondent no.1/Insurance Company is directed to deposit the enhanced amount of Rs.4,70,000/- before the concerned Tribunal within a period of five weeks from today, failing which the respondent shall be liable to pay interest @ 9% p.a. for the delayed period. concerned Tribunal shall release the aforesaid amount alongwith interest, if any, to the appellants as per the proportions forming part of the award subject to verification and completion of requisite formalities.

A copy of this order be sent to concerned Ld. Tribunal with LCR, if requisitioned and received.
