CORAM:

HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE REKHA PALLI

O R D E R

% 13.02.2019 1.

Vide the present petition, the petitioner/management has impugned the Award dated 17th February, 2014, passed by the learned Labour Court No.III, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi in DID No.612/06/05, whereby the petitioner has been directed to pay a sum of Rs.2,25,000/- to the respondent in lieu of reinstatement. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the respondent has already settled with the petitioner and he therefore has instructions to withdraw the writ petition. He, however, prays that the amount deposited by the petitioner may be released to Mr.Vijay Kumar Verma, the erstwhile Director the petitioner/company as the said amount was actually deposited by him from his personal funds. 3.

Learned counsel for the respondent states that he has no

instructions from the respondent and in these circumstances, the plea of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the said respondent has already entered into an amicable settlement with the petitioner is accepted.

4.

Accordingly, while permitting the petitioner to withdraw the petition, the Registry is also directed to release the amount deposited by the petitioner in favour of Shri Vijay Kumar Verma along with accrued interest thereon.

5.

The petition and pending application are dismissed as withdrawn.
