At the hearing on 30th April, 2026, the broad terms of settlement were discussed with the counsel for the parties.

At the hearing on 22nd May, 2026, the Registry was directed to give a report to the Court with regard to the current value of the deposits made by the appellant in Court.

As per the report from the Registry, the maturity value of the two fixed deposits made by the appellant as on 25th May, 2026 is to the tune of ₹35,09,481/-.

In terms of the settlement arrived at between the parties, the respondent would be entitled to 73% of the current value of the fixed deposit and the appellant would be entitled to 27%. Accordingly, the Registry is RFA 644/2015 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. directed to release the amounts in favour of the parties in the following manner:- i.

₹25,61,921 (73% of the current value of the fixed deposit) in favour of the respondent and;

ii.

₹9,47,560 (27% of the current value of the fixed deposit) in favour of the appellant, along with further accrued interest if any. 5.

The aforesaid amounts shall be released to the respective parties at the earliest.
