Mr. Aggarwal, the learned counsel for respondent no.1 and 2 has returned with instructions, to the effect, that as per the marks allotted to the petitioner in the History subject, she has not cleared the examination. Mr. Aggarwal has brought to court a communication dated 06.10.2015, issued by the Principal of the concerned School (i.e. Satyawati Sood Arya Girls Senior Secondary School), addressed to the Dy. Education Officer, which is indicative of the fact that the petitioner has been awarded 21 marks out of a total of 80 marks in the aforementioned subject.

Accordingly, Mr. Aggarwal says that since, the petitioner has not cleared the exam, the relief qua promotion to class XII standard cannot be granted.

Mr. Jha, the learned counsel for the petitioner, fairly says, that in these circumstances, he does not wish to press the said relief. 3.1 However, I am informed that the petitioner has been admitted to the aforementioned school in class XI standard. Mr. Jha affirms this position. Therefore, in so far as the alternate relief sought for in the petition is concerned, the same stands granted. 4.
The captioned petition and the pending application are accordingly, disposed of.
