% 05.09.2017 Learned counsel for respondents points out that Footwear Design and Development Institute Act, 2017 has been notified in the Gazette on 05.8.2017. The petitioner institute have the power to grant degrees to its student; this would apply retrospectively in terms of Section 37(c) of the said Act. This satisfied the prayer made in the petition.
