% 31.10.2018 Mr. Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the issue with regard to treatment of two additional increments as pay for all purposes such as HRA, pensionary benefits etc. in respect of Scientists 'C' to Scientists 'F' of DRDO has been taken in favour of the respondents, and arrears have been paid to the respondents in the present writ petition. He submits that the revision of pensionary benefits is under process. It is submitted that so far as the issue of special pay admissible to Scientists 'G' & 'H' is concerned, it is pending consideration before the Supreme Court in Special Leave Petition and the petitioner has not taken decision in that respect. He points out that in the last order this Court recorded his statement that the aspect regarding counting of special pay for the purpose of granting pensionary benefits is being considered by the Union of India and that the said amount is likely to be released. He submits that this statement was in

respect of the pensionary benefits to be released upon counting of two additional increments for all purposes in respect of the Scientists 'C' to 'F' of the DRDO. He has shown the communication dated 31.10.2018 issued by the DRDO which is taken on record. In view of the aforesaid, he wishes to withdraw the writ petition.
