O R D E R

% 28.11.2017 This petition under Section 29-A(5) of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter referred to the 'Act') has been filed by the petitioner seeking extension of time for making of the Award by the Arbitral Tribunal which is adjudicating the disputes that have arisen between the parties. In spite of the service of notice, none appears for the respondents. I am informed that the respondents, after entering appearance before the Arbitrator, have stopped appearing and have been proceeded ex-parte. The evidence of the petitioner/claimant already stands concluded and the proceedings are fixed for final arguments on 12.12.2017. In view of the above, I allow the present petition extending the time for making of Award by a period of four months from today. The petition is allowed in the above terms.
