O R D E R

% 07.11.2017 FIR no.218/2014 under Sections 336/34 IPC and under section 27 of Arms Act was registered at Police Station Shahadra on the complaint of respondent no.2. It is submitted that now petitioners and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably with the intervention of common friends and elders of the family, vide settlement deed dated 24th March, 2017; therefore, aforesaid FIR may be quashed.

Respondent no. 2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Habib Ahmed of PS Shahadra. He admits having settled the matter with the petitioners of his own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Respondent no. 2 submits that in view of the settlement, he is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may

be quashed.

Keeping in view the fact that a quarrel took place between the neighbours on some trivial issue, which they have settled amicably in order to maintain harmonious relations in future, in the interest of justice, FIR no.218/2014 under Sections 336/34 IPC and under section 27 of Arms Act was registered at Police Station Shahadra and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed, however, subject to costs of `10,000/- each to be deposited by the petitioners with Delhi High Court Legal Service Committee within two weeks from today.

Receipts be produced by the petitioners before the Investigating Officer. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
