The learned counsel appearing for the respondents states that the petitioner's grievance is addressed, as Ministry of External Affairs and the Passport Authorities have already sent a letter to the competent authority at the Indian Embassy in Paris to issue short validity passport of two years to the petitioner, his wife and his three sons, subject to the usual checks as per the Passport Act, 1967.

In view of the above, the petitioner's grievance appears to be addressed and no further orders are required to be passed in this petition. 4.

The petition is disposed of.
