O R D E R

% 21.12.2017 In terms of proceedings dated 7.12.2017 and 18.12.2017 a report has been received from the Superintendent, Central Jail No.3, Tihar, New Delhi to the effect that the petitioner has surrendered on 15.12.2017.

The applicant has submitted on record pursuant to the proceedings dated 7.12.2017, the document from the Amar Leela Hospital & Heart Centre to indicate that pre-anesthetic test of his father was to be conducted on 22.12.2017 and the surgery is scheduled for 27.12.2017 and the cost of the surgery is Rs.2,50,000/- with (medicine charges extra).

A submission was made on behalf of the petitioner on 17.12.2017 in relation to the said aspect that there was nothing to indicate that the applicant had the funds for the same in relation to which it has been submitted that he has already deposited Rs.50,000/-

and the applicant has placed on record a copy of the bank statement from the State Bank of Hyderabad indicating that he has sufficient funds in his account and he has to arrange for the knee surgery of his father.

In the interest of justice, it is considered appropriate as the applicant has not misused the grant of liberty of interim bail granted previously to allow him to be released on interim bail for a period from 22.12.2017 to 11.1.2018 on his filing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Trial Court with specific directions that he shall not leave the city and shall surrender before the Superintendent Jail, Central Jail No.3, Tihar, Delhi, on 11.1.2018.
