The petitioner has filed the present petition against the order dated 25th August, 2017 passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal, observing inter alia that the petitioner having retired from NTPC and NTPC not being a notified organization, the Tribunal is not vested with the jurisdiction to entertain the petition.

The petitioner appearing in person states that he may be granted permission to withdraw the petition with liberty to seek legal recourse against NTPC as permissible in law. The prayer is granted. 3.
