Present writ petition has been filed by petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a direction to set aside the interim order dated 2.12.2014 passed by Central Administrative Tribunal (hereinafter referred to as "Tribunal") in O.A.No.4182/2014.
W.P.(C) No.9499 /2015
5.
It is pointed out by counsel for the petitioners that while granting the interim order, the Tribunal adjourned the matter to 19.12.2014 for final hearing. Counsel further submits that the matter has not been heard by the Tribunal thereafter although it has been listed for final hearing on at least three occasions.
6.
We have heard counsel for the parties. We are informed by counsel for the parties that pleadings in the matter before the Tribunal are complete and the matter is listed before the Tribunal on 9.10.2015. Both the parties agree not to seek any adjournment before the Tribunal. We have no hesitation in saying that the Tribunal would make every endeavour to hear the matter on the date fixed and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible. 7.
Learned counsel for the respondents on instructions submits that since the matter is already listed for hearing on 9.10.2015 the contempt petition would not be pressed by him.
8.
Accordingly, present petition stands disposed of in above terms. CM APPL. 22283/2015 9.
Application stands disposed of in view of the order passed in the writ petition.
10. DASTI to the parties.
