The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in case FIR No.303/2015 registered under Sections 498A/354B/509/34 IPC at PS Pul Prahlad Pur. Status report is on record.

I have heard the learned counsel for the parties including the counsel for the complainant and have examined the file. By an order dated 23.09.2015, the petitioner was granted interim protection and was directed to join the investigation as and when required. Undisputedly, the petitioner has joined the investigation since then. The matter was referred to Mediation Centre at Saket Courts to resolve the dispute between the parties. However, the mediation was unsuccessful.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has placed on record copy of the order dated 15.02.2016 whereby co-accused Shailender @ Rahul, victim's husband has been admitted to regular bail on furnishing personal bond in the sum of `50,000/- with one surety of like amount subject to furnishing a fixed deposit of `2 lacs for a term of five years in the name of the complainant. The petitioner is the victim's fatherin-law. Primarily it is a matrimonial dispute. 4.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is granted anticipatory bail and in the event of arrest, he be released on furnishing personal bond in the sum of ` 40,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the SHO/Investigating officer. He shall, however, join the investigation as and when required.

The bail application stands disposed of.
