Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in case this Court is inclined to direct expeditious disposal of the petition he would not press this petition, at this stage.

Keeping in view the above and also the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 29.06.2015, trial court is directed to expedite the recording of evidence of the prosecution witnesses and conclude the same within a period of 9 months from the next date of hearing before the trial court. 3.

In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the petition.

The petitioner is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid directions.
