By way of this writ petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioners have made the following prayers:- a) To issue directions to the respondent Nos.2 and 3 to provide safety and security to the life, person and liberty of the petitioners in case the respondent Nos.2 and 3 intends to arrest the petitioners and tried to implicate them in any false criminal case at the behest of the respondent Nos.4 to 8; b) To issue directions to the respondent Nos.2 and 3 not to harass the petitioners at the instance of respondent Nos.4 to 8. 2.

Status report has been filed by the State to the following effect:- "......On 7th December, 2015, a cancellation report of the case FIR No. 586/15 under Section 365 IPC was filed in the Court of Sh. Kapil Kumar, MM Rohini Court, Delhi where complainant along with petitioner and her husband Chander Shekhar was present. The complainant submitted that he has no objection if W.P.(CRL) 2090/2015

the present cancellation report be accepted and he has accepted the marriage of her major daughter with Chander Shekhar. The cancellation report was accepted by Ld. MM......" 3.

Today both the petitioners are present in person and submits that they are living happily as their marriage has been accepted by their respective families and they do not apprehend any threat from their parents & relatives. 4.

In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this petition.

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
