Learned counsel for the petitioner has filed an application seeking amendment of the writ petition (the said application has been necessitated as during the pendency of the present petition, The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 has been enacted and the said Act has expanded the scope of the definition of persons with disabilities. Thus the petitioner's principal grievance appears to have been addressed. 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that although persons with learning disabilities have been covered under the Act, the standards for measuring Specific Learning Disability has not been specified. He seeks to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file a comprehensive petition

specifically bringing out the material facts pertaining to the grievance that still survive.
