O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 42/2017 By this petition, the petitioner prays for extension of time for making of the award by the sole arbitrator. My attention has been drawn to the order/record of the proceedings dated 15th September, 2017 and 22nd September, 2017 recorded by the sole arbitrator. Counsel for the respondent is present on advance notice. He submits that without admitting the contents of the petition, he has no objection for the prayer to be granted.

In view of the above, I extend the period for making of the award by the sole arbitrator for further period of six months from today.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
