% 22.01.2019 CM APPL.2983/2019 This is an application under Section 151 CPC filed on behalf of the appellant seeking return of the statutory amount. Counsel for the appellant - applicant submit that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties before the National Lok Adalat on 08.12.2018 and prays that the statutory amount be released in favour of the appellant.
In view of the submissions made by learned counsel for the appellant and for the reasons stated in the application, the application is allowed. The statutory amount deposited by the appellant be released in favour of the appellant, as per rules.
The application is disposed of accordingly.
MAC.APP. 935/2017 Since the matter has been settled between the parties before the National Lok Adalat on 08.12.2018, the present petition is disposed of with directions to the parties to remain bound by the terms of settlement arrived at the National Lok Adalat on 08.12.2018.
