Criminal Writ Petition under Article 226/227 of Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed for quashing of FIR No. 0207/2017 registered under Sections 420/406/120B/34 IPC at P.S. Vasant Kunj South on the basis of Mediated Settlement dated 05.07.2018. 2.

The Petitioners No. 1 and 2 are present in person and the Complainant is present through VC and they have been identified by their Counsel. 3.

The parties submit that all the terms of Settlement are duly stand complied with. Indemnity bond and the Affidavit of compliance have also been filed on behalf of Ashok Kumar, who has taken over all the liabilities in terms of the Mediated Settlement.

arrived at between the parties, without any pressure and coercion and that they shall remain bound by the terms of the settlement. 5.

The parties have submitted that all the disputes have been amicably settled vide Mediated Settlement dated 05.07.2018 and thus, no fruitful purpose will be served in continuing with the FIR. 6.

In view of the above facts that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will and without any coercion and also the fact that all the terns are complied with, no useful purpose will be served in continuing with the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. Hence, it would be in the interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. 7.

Moreover, there is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question.

Accordingly, considering the totality of circumstances and the nature of the dispute, which is essentially a neighbourhood fight and the fact that they have settled the matter, the FIR No. 0207/2017 registered under Sections 420/406/120B/34 IPC at P.S. Vasant Kunj South and all the consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. 9.
