By way of this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C., the petitioner is seeking direction to the respondent/UOI to expeditiously dispose of his representation dated 11th August, 2017 filed under Section 13(6) of the Repatriation of Prisoners Act, 2003.

Mr.Anil Soni, learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent/Union of India submits that the representation filed by the petitioner is under active consideration and shall be disposed of expeditiously preferably within two months.

In view of the above assurance given by learned counsel for UOI, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this petition with liberty to avail the remedy depending upon the outcome of his representation.
