% 30.11.2017 Counsel for the petitioner has filed an Amended memo of parties. He submits that accused Vicky and Vipul have been impleaded as petitioners in the petition and the respondent No.2 has settled his disputes with them also, Settlement Deed in this regard is also placed on record. The instant petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking quashing of FIR No.499/2017 for the offence punishable under Section 308/34 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 (in short 'IPC'), registered at police stationKalyanpuri, Delhi on the complaint of respondent No.2 and the proceedings pursuant thereto on the ground that compromise/settlements dated 17.10.2017 & 29.11.2017 have been arrived at between the parties in the matter.

Respondent No. 2 is present in Court today and is identified by counsel and the Investigating Officer. He states that he has settled the matter with the petitioners of free will and choice without any threat, pressure and coercion, as per terms and conditions of the Settlement Deeds dated 17.10.2017 and 29.11.2017.

Statements of the parties have been recorded separately. In view of the fact that the parties have amicably resolved their differences voluntarily and of their own free will and without any coercion, pressure, and no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the proceedings. It would be in the interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. There is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question. Consequently, FIR No.499/2017 for the offence punishable under Section 308/34 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 (in short 'IPC'), registered at police station-Kalyanpuri, Delhi and proceedings pursuant thereto are hereby quashed.
