BAIL APPLN. 2172/2017 The petitioner resides in Indore.

He is stated to have joined the investigation. Accordingly, in future, whenever the petitioner is required to join the investigation, the police shall intimate him through SMS and/or email, at least two days prior to his requirement to be present in Delhi. In the circumstances, the petitioner be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.20,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Investigating Officer/SHO concerned, subject to the following conditions:-

(i) The petitioner shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to the complainant so as to dissuade him from disclosing any facts to the Court or to any police officer or tamper with the evidence;

(ii) the petitioner shall not make any effort to evade the process of law; (iii) the petitioner shall not leave the country without prior permission of the Court and the passport, if held by him, shall be deposited with the Trial Court concerned; and (iv) in case of change of the phone numbers or address, the petitioner shall inform the police forthwith.

Any observation made in this order shall have no bearing on the merits of the case.

The petition stands disposed off in the above terms. NAJMI WAZIRI, J.
