CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

% 27.07.2018 Notice.
Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no. 1. Respondent no.2 Ms. Pooja @ Shardha Yadav is present in Court and accepts notice. She has been identified by SI Azad Singh of police station Ranhola. She says that now she is 22 years of age.
Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioners of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Respondent no. 2 says that she has no objection in case FIR No. 466/2014 under Sections 363/354/509/506/34 IPC and Sections 8/12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act, 2012 registered at Police Station Ranhola and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Affidavit of
respondent no. 2 to this effect is also on record at pages 19-20. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending.
Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti. A.K. PATHAK, J.
