The petitioner has approached this Court for expeditious disposal of the divorce petition bearing HMA 1297/2014.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondent is deliberately delaying the hearing and disposal of the petition which is pending for cross-examination of the petitioner since October, 2016. 3.

Learned counsel for the respondent submits that there is no delay on the part of the respondent in this matter. It is submitted that the matter was transferred from one Court to another Court due to which there was some delay.

It is further submitted that the respondent has no objection to the appointment of a retired judicial officer as local commissioner to record the entire evidence in the divorce petition as well as the respondent's application under Section 125 Cr.P.C. as well as other pending applications. 4.

Learned counsels for the parties submit that the learned Family Court has heard the arguments on the respondent's application under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act and other interim applications and the matter is kept

for pronouncement of the order on 04th June, 2018. 5.

In the facts and circumstances of this case, the learned Family Court is directed to expedite the hearing and disposal of the matter. The learned Family Court may appoint a retired judicial officer as a local commissioner to complete the recording of the evidence in respect of the pending matters in a time bound manner.

This petition is disposed of in the above terms. 7.

Pending application is disposed of.
