% 23.01.2018 A Sole Arbitrator has been appointed by this Court by an order passed today in Arbitration Petition No.12/2018. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petition may be treated as a petition under Section 17 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter referred to as the Act) before the Arbitrator. Counsel for the respondent has no objection to the same. In view of the above, I direct that the present petition would be treated as an application under Section 17 of the Act, giving liberty to the petitioner to file a copy of the same before the Arbitrator. The said application shall be considered by the Arbitrator in accordance with law and uninfluenced by any observation that may have been made in any of the previous orders of this Court. The petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti.
