% 31.10.2017 Present FIR No. 216/2013 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC was registered against the petitioner at police station Welcome Colony, on the complaint of respondent no. 3. Respondent no.3 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Rajiv of police station Welcome. She submits that she is living with her husband, that is, petitioner no.1 for the past one year, after resolving their differences.
She further submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed. Keeping in mind that husband (petitioner no.1) and wife (respondent no.3) have started living together after ironing out their differences and respondent no.3 does not wish to pursue the FIR any further, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating
therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
